LIVE QUEER STORYTELLING
slant IS BACK.
Portland's original queer storytelling jam returns June 26th at Mississippi Studios!
Past years’ storytellers have included GLAAD Award winning comedian and actor, Joel Kim Booster, SF Sketchfest writer and performer, Irene Tu, Original Plumbing author, Cooper Lee Bombardier, Voz Alta’s, Joaquin Lopez, and many more.
Each show, SLANT’s storytellers share seven-minute stories about love, triumph, embarrassment, joy, and more. This season's line up includes SisterBritt, Ebo Barton, Jermaine Blackwell, Mercy M’fon, Anwar Musa, and Chabre Vickers. Tickets are on sale now.
In addition to celebrating live queer storytelling, a portion of SLANT ticket sales from this show will go to benefit the Equal Rights for All campaign, an initiative aimed at protecting Oregonians’ ability to make their own, private healthcare decisions, marry the person they love, and stop politicians who want to turn back the clock on Oregonians’ basic rights and freedoms.
